Effective September 3, Platts has amended the specifications for its US Southeastern and Midwestern rebar price assessments published in Steel Markets Daily, Platts Metals Alert, the Price Analyzer, and Platts Market Data. This follows a previous feedback period and subscriber notices. The assessments now reflect prices for No. 5 bar (diameter of 0.625 inches), minimum order size 100 st. All other specifications were unchanged. The new specifications are reflected in the Platts methodology guide for Steel/Ferrous scrap as published at www.platts.com
