Platts to discontinue Mediterranean-South American 55kt Clean Tanker duplicate code

In order to remove a duplication of data, Platts will discontinue a set of Mediterranean-South American Clean Tanker 55kt daily and monthly codes from Oct. 2.

The codes that will be discontinued are available in the Platts Pricing database under TCAAW00 and TCAAW03. These codes are not published on any fixed pages or in Platts Clean Tankerwire.

Platts will continue to publish the Mediterranean-South American 60kt assessment available daily under code TCACT00 and monthly under code TCACT03.

Platts amended the cargo size of the Mediterranean-South American 60kt assessment from July 1.
