SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts launches three-month out Steel Rebar derivatives curve

Effective Sep. 2, 2019, S&P Global Platts has started publishing on a daily basis a three month-out curve of financial derivatives, which are settled against the Platts Steel Rebar FOB Turkey price assessment.

The assessments reflect the prevailing value at 16:30 London time in $/mt. They are based on the information reported by active market participants’ trade information and brokers’ forward curves and published on the Metals Alert Page 700.

Month rolls on the 1st of the month, eg. on August30: current month is August, M1 – September, M2 – October and M3 – November. On September 2: current month is September, M1 – October, M2 – November and M3 – December.

The new assessments can be found on the Platts Metals Alert on fixed page MW1315, in the Steel Markets Daily Publication and in the Platts databased under the following codes:
