Following industry consultation, S&P Global Platts will discontinue the daily spark spread table published in Coal Trader, effective January 3, 2017.
Platts believes the spark spread in its current design is no longer relevant to the market. Platts is considering possible replacements, but is still studying several scenarios.
The relevant codes are as follows:
CTSS100, CTSS200, CTSS300, CTSS400, CTSS500, CTSS600; CTST100, CTST200, CTST300, CTST400, CTST500, CTST600; CTSU001, CTSU002, CTSU003, CTSU004, CTSU005, CTSU006, CTSU007, CTSU008, CTSU009; CTSU010, CTSU011, CTSU012, CTSU013, CTSU014, CTSU015, CTSU016, CTSU017, CTSU018.
