SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Changes to Platts European gas, power, LNG and global coal exchange rates

Following subscriber consultation, S&P Global Platts has decided to amend the timestamp and source of the exchange rates used to convert Platts European gas, power and LNG assessments and Platts global coal assessments into foreign currency equivalents from September 30, 2016.

Platts will publish foreign exchange data at 16:30 London time using Platts assessments, moving from a 16:00 timestamp with data sourced from Tullett Prebon.

The foreign exchange codes which will be sourced from Platts 16:30 assessments are: SFr-Eur AACOT00 GBP-Eur AACOW00 GBP-USD AACOO00 SFr-USD AACOK00 Eur-USD AACOP00

Platts will continue to publish the following remaining exchange rates from Tullett Prebon: NOK-USD AACOF00 SKr-USD AACOI00 DKK-USD AACOJ00 NOK-Eur AACOQ00 SKr-Eur AACOR00 DKK-Euro Spot AACOS00 Zloty-Eur AARWK00 TRY-Eur AAXQJ00 TRY-US AAXQI00

All exchange rates used to convert Platts European gas, power, LNG and global coal assessments will continue to be published on European Power Alert page 99, in European Gas Daily and in European Power Daily. All exchange rates listed above will continue to be databased in Platts Market Data under the codes listed above. Please note that any foreign exchange codes currently databased in Market Data category ET will be moving to Market Data category FX from November 21, 2016.
