On Saturday, September 12, 2009, Platts is planning to upgrade the servers that support our FTP Dispatch and subscription web services.
The sites that will be affected are ftp.platts.com, and online.platts.com, which is the 'My Subscriptions' link at platts.com.
For the most part, the upgrade will be invisible to users, although there may be a short period (20-30 minutes or less) on Saturday morning when the sites will not be available.
As as result of the upgrade, the IP addresses of the affected servers will change. Platts strongly recommends using the URLs (the site names above), rather than IP addresses, to access our sites. However, due to corporate policies or for other reasons, some users may be required to use IP addresses, and therefore need the new ones. These users should contact Platts Customer Care to obtain this information.
If you have any comments or questions regarding this announcement, please contact your local Platts Customer Care representative, or email support@platts.com.
