Platts suspends weekly Brazil ethanol parity versus gasoline assessments

S&P Global Platts has temporarily suspended its weekly hydrous ethanol parity versus gasoline assessments due to a third-party data interruption.

The National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (ANP) stopped publishing its weekly price survey due to the expiration of a contract with a third-party company that supplied the data, according to the agency's website.

ANP has signed a new contract and expects the price survey to resume in the coming weeks.

The affected assessments are:

HENEB00 - Hydrous Ethanol Parity versus Gasoline North East Brazil

HECWB00 - Hydrous Ethanol Parity versus Gasoline Center West Brazil

HESEB00 - Hydrous Ethanol Parity versus Gasoline South East Brazil

HESBB00 - Hydrous Ethanol Parity versus Gasoline South Brazil

These assessments currently appear in the weekly Fuel Ethanol report and in the Platts price database under the codes above.
