Following a proposal published on June 24, 2016, Platts has launched Middle East netback assessment for 92 RON gasoline, with effect from September 1, 2016.
Platts detailed this change in a subscriber note published July 31, 2016 (http://wwww.platts.com/subscriber-notes-details/27637797).
This netback, which will follow the same methodology applied to other MOPAG netback assessments, will be published under the heading "FOB Arab Gulf ($/barrel)" and be labeled as "Gasoline 92 unleaded".
In line with Platts' existing 95 RON MOPAG netback, this new value will be calculated on a netback basis from FOB Singapore 92 RON unleaded assessments, using a freight rate for 30,000 mt tankers. Freight rates assessments are published daily in Platts Clean Tankerwire.
