Effective September 1, Platts discontinued its weekly US dioctyl phthalate assessment due to a change in market dynamics.

Liquidity in the US market for DOP has dropped significantly as substitute plasticizers have become more commonplace.

These assessments were published on Page PCA161 and were listed under the following codes in the Platts price database: DOP FD US Domestic Weekly, PHARA00; Monthly Average, PHARB03.
