SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts changes timing basis for styrene FOB USG assessment

Effective September 1, 2015, Platts changed the timing basis reflected in its daily US spot styrene price assessment to current delivery month (M1) and next month (M2) from the current 3- to 30-day basis.

Platts changed the current delivery month roll into next delivery month five (5) calendar days prior to the end of the month. If this day falls on a weekend or holiday, Platts will roll its US spot styrene assessments to the next month on the next business day. All other assessment parameters will remain in effect. Spot styrene will remain assessed on a free on board (FOB) basis the US Gulf Coast, with cargo size of 1,000 mt to 5,000 mt.

Platts also amended the description for its current styrene FOB USG assessment to reflect the assessment of FOB USG styrene in Month 1.
