New FD NWE polystyrene net contract assessment

Following Platts engagements with the European polystyrene industry since the feedback gathering process was initiated on June 24, 2010, Platts will introduce a Northwest European free-delivered polystyrene net contract price assessment in Eur/mt, concurrent with the present gross contract price assessment.

The new assessments, General Purpose Polystyrene Net contract price (GPPS Net) and High Impact Polystyrene Net contract price (HIPS Net) will be published in the Polymerscan and the Platts Petrochemical Alert from September 1, 2010.
