SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to publish rationale for FOB Australia alumina

S&P Global Platts will start publishing an assessment rationale effective September 26, 2016, that reflects how the daily FOB Australia alumina price assessment is derived.

The rationale, published daily on MW0020, will consist of information gathered during the day, particularly transactions, bids and offers received from market participants.

The rationale will also contain other information relevant to the assessment process.

The rationale will highlight the information used in the assessment process as well as explain why certain information was not used in the event of any exclusions.
