Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has added minimum and maximum loading quantities for its FCA France Granular Urea assessment, effective Aug. 29.
Platts has included a minimum loading quantity of 1,000 metric tons and a maximum of 15,000 metric tons in its FCA France Granular Urea assessment (FGUFA04).
The amendment reflects industry feedback regarding the typical urea cargoes sizes discharging at the port of La Pallice.
The assessment specifications previously had no details on volume.
Market information about larger and smaller parcels will continue to be used, but will be normalized back to the 1,000-15,000 metric tons range.
Please send any feedback, questions and comments to Fertilizer@spglobal.com, and PriceGroup@spglobal.com.
For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing.
Platts will consider all comments received and will make comments not marked as confidential available upon request
