SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts waterborne USGC oil products, blendstocks assessments

Due to the ongoing logistical and infrastructure disruptions resulting from Hurricane Harvey, S&P Global Platts will not publish bids and offers during the Market on Close assessment process for any waterborne refined products loading from or being delivered into the US Gulf Coast for August 29, 2017, and until further notice.

This includes US Gulf Coast fuel oil, waterborne gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, heating oil, naphtha, gasoline blendstocks and Houston bunker fuel markets.

Platts will continue to publish assessments for these markets based on relative spreads, derivatives prices and other data.

The Houston Ship Channel remains closed to vessel traffic and many terminals in the region have suspended operations. Platts is closely monitoring the situation as it develops. At this point, it is not clear when normal operations will resume.

Industry feedback has suggested some support for publishing bids and offers on dates for loading further ahead. Platts is requesting feedback on what dates would be reasonable to resume publishing bids and offers as part of the MOC process.

Further announcements regarding the assessments later this week will be made in due course.
