SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts proposes to publish Chicago, NYH Ethanol to 3 d.p. in line with database

Effective November 3, 2016, Platts proposes to start publishing the Ethanol Chicago Argo (terminal) assessment, Ethanol NYH Barge Mo01 and Ethanol NYH Barge Mo02 mid-points to three decimal places in the daily Biofuelscan report.

The Ethanol Chicago Argo (terminal) assessment and Ethanol NYH Barge Mo01 assessment will also be published to three decimal places in the Weekly Global Ethanol report. The assessments will continue to be published in cents per gallon.

All mid-points are current published to three decimal places on the Platts Biofuels Alert service and the database. To ensure a high degree of accuracy Platts will now start to publish these assessments to three decimal places in the PDF reports. The midpoint represents the average between the high and low of each market assessment published for the day.

The assessments impacted will be: Ethanol Chicago Argo (terminal) assessment: AALRI00 Ethanol NYH Barge Mo01: AAMPF00 Ethanol NYH Barge Mo02: AAUEG00

The monthly average assessment mid-points for Ethanol Chicago Argo (terminal) assessment, Ethanol NYH Barge Mo01 and Ethanol NYH Barge Mo02 are already published to 3 decimal places.
