Platts to amend Worldscale basket for Es Sider-linked dirty tanker assessment Oct. 1

Following a Worldscale Association update to the port of Es Sider, S&P Global Platts will amend the Worldscale flat rate basket used in $/mt calculations in one dirty tanker assessment, effective Oct. 1, 2021.

Please refer to the Worldscale website for more information on the update.

With this amendment, the new average flat rate for the assessment will change as follows:

No Platts Clean Tanker rates are affected by this update.

The affected assessment appears in Platts Dirty Tankerwire; on Platts Shipping Alert pages SHP1430, SHP1431 and Platts Tanker Alert pages PGT1960, PGT1961; and in the Platts price database under the codes above.
