Platts to discontinue Badak crude ICP from October 2020

S&P Global Platts will discontinue the publication of Indonesia Crude Price for Badak crude oil with effect from October 1, 2020.

The Badak ICP is currently published under code AINDD00 in the Platts price database and on Platts Global Alert page 1056 alongside the ICPs of other crude grades from Indonesia.

Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources issues the ICP for various crude oil grades produced in the country on a monthly basis.

The ministry no longer publishes the ICP for Badak crude as the crude oil grade is now blended and marketed as Attaka crude, according to a ministry notification.
