Subscriber note: Platts to assess Asia styrene butadiene rubber from Sep 7

Platts is proposing to introduce Asian spot assessments for styrene butadiene rubber with effect from September 7, 2012. Asian SBR spot price assessments would reflect clear emulsion-grade SBR grade 1502 and solution-grade SBR grade 1502 cargoes traded on a CFR Northeast Asia and CFR Southeast Asia basis. Spot price assessments will reflect standard parcel lots of 100-300 mt, trading 30-60 days forward. All price assessments will reflect the close of Asian markets, time stamped at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT) subject to the typical guidelines of the Platts Market on Close assessment process.
