Please note that Platts will begin using eWindow software for its Asia gasoline Market on Close assessment process from August 27, 2010.
This will create a different format for headlines published for bids and offers.
For example, a headline that currently appears as "92 RON: B1) ABC bids 77.50 Sep 14-18 50kb" would instead be published as "Platts Mogas 92 FOB Spore (Fixed) Sep14-Sep18, ABCP bids $77.50 for 50".
Platts recommends filtering headlines using the keyword "Mogas" for readers who filter their Platts Global Alert headlines to see the Asia gasoline MOC assessment process.
In the new headline structure, the volume being bid for will be expressed as a multiple of 1,000 barrels, with a minimum volume of 50,000 barrels.
Company short-form names may also appear differently.
