Platts corrects daily US Copper Transaction price for Aug. 17, weekly average

Platts, a part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is correcting the daily value for the Platts US Copper Transaction price (MMCUT00) that appeared in the Aug. 17 edition of Platts Metals Daily to 371.80 cents/lb.

A technical error excluded the spot COMEX copper settlement (CMAAD10) price from the calculation, causing errors in both the daily price (MMCUT00), as well as the weekly average (MMCUT04) in the Platts database archive.

The weekly average has been corrected to 375.87 cents/lb.
