Platts proposes to change the specifications for its Portland and Seattle gasoline assessments. Currently, Platts premium and conventional gasoline assessments for Portland and Seattle reflect 91 and 87 octane, respectively. The proposed assessments will reflect 84 octane for conventional suboctane gasoline and 90 octane for premium suboctane. These specifications reflect current standards for on the Olympic and Kinder Morgan pipeline systems. The proposed change would replace the existing gasoline assessments. Portland gasoline is currently published on PGA page 350 under the codes PGADD00 for 87 octane and PGABL00 for 91 octane. Seattle gasoline is currently published on PGA page 350 under the codes PGADF00 for 87 octane and PGABN00 for 91 octane.
