Reminder: Platts 'legacy' FTP site will close Saturday, Aug 27

As previously announced, Platts implemented new file creation and FTP delivery systems for its Market Data (formerly Dispatch) service in June, 2011. In order to ease the transition to the new system, Platts has kept the previous system running in parallel at ftp-legacy.platts.com since then.

Also as previously announced, Platts will shut down the 'legacy' system effective 9am US Eastern time on Saturday, August 27. At that time, access via the ftp-legacy url, as well as the corresponding ip address (ftp://204.17.166.206/pub/) will cease to be available. All users need to have switched to the new system at ftp.platts.com by that time.
