Subscriber Note: USGC conventional unleaded RVP to shift in late August

Conventional unleaded 87 octane 7.8 (M1) and 9.0 RVP (M2) gasoline grades are currently scheduled for delivery through the Colonial Pipeline's 50th cycle from Pasadena, Texas. Colonial's 51st cycle will tentatively become prompt on August 31. When the 51st cycle becomes prompt, the Platts assessment of the 7.8 RVP (M1) gasoline will convert to a 9.0 RVP (M2) gasoline assessment. At this time, Platts will suspend the 9.0 RVP (M2) supplemental assessment until it returns in 2013. Platts will shift to an 11.5 RVP (M3) assessment September 6. These are seasonal RVP shifts. The Platts assessment policy is to quote the lowest prompt RVP number. For questions or comments contacts Americas_products@platts.com with a cc to pricegroup@platts.com.
