Effective August 22, 2012, Platts will alter the layout of US crude pages 214 and 215 in Platts Global Alert to reflect that Alaska North Slope crude is a differential to WTI Calendar Month Average (CMA). It is currently found in the section for diffs to WTI M1. The code is AAGWX00. The Alaska North Slope crude oil assessment has always been a differential to WTI CMA, and this does not reflect any change of methodology. Please send any comments to Americas_crude_oil@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com
