Following feedback to proposals in our subscriber note published on July 28, Platts will begin assessing CBOB and Premium-CBOB assessments shipped on the Laurel pipeline beginning September 13, 2010.
The CBOB assessment will have a minimum of 84 Octane rating, while Premium-CBOB assessment will have a minimum Octane rating of 91 Octane as per Buckeye's specifications.
The 350-mile Laurel pipeline moves refined oil products throughout the Pennsylvania oil markets, shipping oil westward from four refineries and a connection point in Philadelphia to the Colonial pipeline system to terminals in Reading, Harrisburg, Altoona/Johnstown and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
