Platts begins publishing additional B3 ethanol futures data

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has begun publishing additional third-party ethanol futures daily data from the São Paulo stock exchange (B3), effective Aug. 19.

This launch is part of ongoing efforts to enhance transparency in the hydrous ethanol market following subscriber requests. Platts already published month one and two, the new symbols extend the curve to month 10.

The following new symbols are now available:

Platts has also amended the frequency of publication for two existing symbols:

• BMFEM01 (B3 Hydrous Ethanol Mo01) – changed from weekly to daily
• BMFEM02 (B3 Hydrous Ethanol Mo02) – changed from weekly to daily

All symbols are available on Platts Connect. The BMFEM01 and BMFEM02 symbols are also published in the Fuel Ethanol Report, released on Tuesdays.
