Effective August 7, 2009, Platts will remove PetroCanada's crude posted price from the underlying postings average for its Par Crude (Edmonton Light Sweet) Canadian postings-derived crude assessment.
This price is being removed from the average because Suncor and PetroCanada, having recently merged, will be posting the exact same price.
On October 1, the merged company, Suncor, will begin publishing all crude prices under the Suncor name only.
These assessments can be found on PGA page 145, North American Crude Wire, Oilgram Price Report and Crude Oil Marketwire.
Please contact Jeff Mower, jeff_mower@platts.com, Matthew Cook, matthew_cook@platts.com, for any questions or comments.
