Effective September 6, 2016, Platts will start reflecting winter grade gasoline on a pro-rated basis in its CIF Northwest Europe and FOB, CIF Mediterranean cargo assessments with winter grade having an increasing weighting in the assessment.
The affected assessments include: FOB Mediterranean premium unleaded gasoline cargoes (code: AAWZA00); CIF Mediterranean premium unleaded gasoline cargoes (code: AAWZB00); CIF Northwest European gasoline cargoes (code: AAXFQ00). September 16 will be the last day on which summer specification can be bid or offered. A spreadsheet detailing the changes is available on request. The following calendar applies: - September 6: First day of reflecting winter - September 12: First day on which winter gasoline can be bid or offered - September 16: Last full five-day period for summer indications - September 20: Last day summer gasoline will be reflected - September 21: Fully winter.
