Platts to move PTA assessments to Friday

Platts will change the publication day for its weekly PTA assessments from Thursday to Friday, starting September 1.

This change will affect US, European and Asian PTA assessments.

Subscribers will be able to access the assessments and commentaries via Platts Petrochemical Alert realtime service (PCA pages 179, 691, 509 and 532 respectively) as well as in the Asian Petrochemicalscan.

In addition, the weekly average for the daily CFR China PTA price will reflect the mathematical calculation of the typical Monday to Friday business week.
