Subscriber note: Platts proposes to discontinue EU DDP coils

S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue the daily delivered duty paid northwest European hot rolled coil and cold rolled coil assessments (codes AAWVM00 and AAWWB00) from December 1, 2016.

Platts is proposing to discontinue these assessments due to a lack of trade liquidity on this INCO term basis (DDP).

Platts publishes daily ex-works Ruhr assessments for both HRC and CRC: this is the more regularly-cited basis for comparable transactions.
