Subscriber note: USGC conventional unleaded premium 93 RVP to shift in late August

Premium unleaded 93 octane 7.8 (V1) and 9.0 RVP (V2) gasoline grades are currently scheduled for delivery through the Colonial Pipeline's 51st cycle from Pasadena, Texas. Colonial's 52nd cycle will tentatively become prompt on August 31. When the 52nd cycle becomes prompt, Platts' assessment of the 7.8 RVP (V1) gasoline will convert to an 11.5 RVP (V3) gasoline assessment. At this time, Platts will suspend the 9.0 RVP (V2) assessment until it returns in 2013. This is a seasonal RVP shift. The Platts assessment policy is to quote the lowest prompt RVP number.
