Subscriber Note: USGC CBOB RVP to shift

The CBOB 87 octane (A1) and premium 93 octane (D1) 7.8 and 9.0 RVP gasoline grades are currently scheduled for delivery through Colonial Pipeline's 51st cycle from Pasadena, Texas. Colonial's 52nd cycle will tentatively become prompt on August 31. When the 52nd cycle becomes prompt, Platts' assessment of the 7.8 RVP grades (A1 and D1) gasoline will convert to an 11.5 RVP (A3 and D3) gasoline assessment. At this time, Platts will suspend the 9.0 RVP (A2 and D2) assessment until it returns in 2013. This is a seasonal RVP shift. The Platts assessment policy is to quote the lowest prompt RVP number.
