US Gulf Coast conventional unleaded RVP to shift in late August

SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Conventional unleaded 87 octane 7.8 (M1) and 9.0 RVP (M2) gasoline grades are currently scheduled for delivery through the Colonial Pipeline's 50th cycle from Pasadena, Texas. Colonial's 51st cycle will tentatively become prompt on August 29. When the 51st cycle becomes prompt, Platts' assessment of the 7.8 RVP (M1) gasoline will convert to an 11.5 RVP (M3) gasoline assessment. At this time, Platts will suspend the 9.0 RVP (M2) assessment until it returns in 2013. This is a seasonal RVP shift. The Platts assessment policy is to quote the lowest prompt RVP number.
