S&P Global Platts is proposing to discontinue its Mediterranean-South American Clean Tanker 55,000 mt daily and monthly codes from Oct. 2 due to a data duplication.
The deadline for market feedback is Aug. 28.
The codes that will be discontinued are available in the Platts Pricing database under TCAAW00 AND TCAAW03.
The codes are not published on any fixed pages or in Platts Clean Tankerwire.
Platts will continue to publish the Mediterranean-South American 60,000 mt assessment available daily under code TCACT00 and monthly under code TCACT03.
Platts amended the cargo size of the Mediterranean-South American 60,000 mt assessment from July 1.
