Platts proposes to launch a daily FOB Thailand assessment for fuel grade anhydrous ethanol (3,000-5,000 cu m) to complement the existing CFR Philippines and FOB Singapore assessments. The assessment will be based on information sourced from the market up to the end of the Market-on-Close assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT) and reflect cargoes loading 15-30 days from the date of publication. Price assessments are subject to the typical guidelines of the Platts MOC assessment process. The assessment reflects undenatured anhydrous bioethanol, that conforms to Philippines National Standard (PNS/DOE QS 007:2005) specifications under the current definitions 3.1 and 3.2 of the standard, for use as a blending component in unleaded gasoline. For feedback please contact Ihsan Rahim at Ihsan_rahim@platts.com with a cc to pricegroup@platts.com by September 31.
