Subscriber note: Platts proposes to change fuel-grade ethanol assessment cargo size

Platts proposes to change the cargo size of its fuel-grade ethanol assessment basis CIF Philippines and FOB Singapore to 3,000-5,000 cu m, normalized to 3,000 cu m. Currently, Platts assesses parcel sizes of 1,000-3,000 cu m. The proposed refinement follows further market feedback that the usual cargo size that arrives CIF Philippines, which include the ports of Subic, Manila and Batangas, is usually 3,000-5,000 cu m.
