Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue a number of US Atlantic Coast dead prompt gasoline barge supplemental monthly averages effective Oct. 1, 2024, and will remove published monthly averages of these supplementals outright and differential assessments for April 2024 from its database.
The proposed discontinuation and data removal will impact the following symbols:
| Symbol | Description |
| ADDPP03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline CBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Differential to NYMEX RBOB MAvg |
| ADDPQ03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline CBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Outright MAvg |
| ADDPR03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline Premium CBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Differential to NYMEX RBOB MAvg |
| ADDPS03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline Premium CBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Outright MAvg |
| ADDPT03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline Premium RBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Differential to NYMEX RBOB MAvg |
| ADDPU03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline Premium RBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Outright MAvg |
| ADDPV03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline RBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Differential to NYMEX RBOB MAvg |
| ADDPW03 | Dead Prompt Gasoline RBOB NYH Barge Supplemental Outright MAvg |
Platts first proposed this in a subscriber note published July 31.
On April 1, Platts launched new assessments reflecting dead prompt barge loadings for US Atlantic Coast refined products markets.
The dead prompt barge assessments for RBOB, CBOB, and their related supplemental assessments, as well as ULSD reflect loadings on a FOB New York Harbor basis 1-3 days forward from the date of publication.
The publication of the seasonal supplemental assessments in the USAC market usually spans less than a calendar month and no other supplemental monthly averages are currently published.
The proposed discontinuation of the monthly averages does not impact USAC daily supplemental gasoline assessments, which are published in spring and fall.
