Following market feedback, Platts has changed its FOB Black Sea wheat (Russia, 12.5%) assessment volume to 25,000 mt, with operational tolerance in accordance with standard market practice, from 60,000 mt. Also, the test weight was changed to 77 kg/hectoliter, from the current 77-78 kg/hl, and minimum falling number will shift to 250 seconds from 230 seconds.
The assessment will reflect FOB Black Sea wheat, with 77 kg/hl test weight, a minimum falling number of 250 seconds and a volume of 25,000 mt, with operational tolerance in accordance with standard market practice, effective August 11, 2016.
The decision followed proposals issued June 30, 2016.
