Platts proposes to begin publishing daily assessments for a Black Sea to Mediterranean route on the basis of 140,000 mt crude oil cargoes. The new assessments would be launched with effect from November 4, 2013. The assessment will reflect Suezmaxes carrying crude oil cargoes and will be in addition to Platts existing 135,000 mt Black Sea-Med Suezmax assessments. Platts proposes to publish assessment for Suezmaxes carrying crude oil on this route to reflect larger cargo sizes on this route. Please send any feedback by October 1, to europe_crude@platts.com, tankers@platts.com and pricegroup@platts.com. For written comments, please provide a clear indication if comments are not intended for publication by Platts for public viewing.
