Seeking comment on proposed RMG 380 assessment

Platts is inviting comments on its proposal to introduce an RMG 380 bunker fuel cargo assessment on a delivered basis New York Harbor beginning January 3, 2011.

The assessment will reflect a minimum of 120,000 barrels with one or multiple shipments delivered into New York Harbor 10-25 days forward from the date of publication.

Deliveries beyond New York Harbor will be normalized using the prevailing freight rates as published by Platts.

The assessment will be published in Platts Global Alert page 44, US Marketscan, Platts Oilgram News and Bunkerwire.
