Middle East-SE Asia freight rates amendment

To better reflect Middle East ports and freight routes, Platts will amend the reference of AG-SE Asia (Oracle code AAXOR00) on PCA 417 Global Weekly Gas Chemical Freight Rates to Middle East-SE Asia (ME-SE Asia) with immediate effect.

The ports in the Middle East include Ruwais (UAE), Jubail & Rabigh (Saudi Arabia), Shuaiba (Kuwait), Mesaieed (Qatar), Assaluyeh & Bandar Imam Khomeini (Iran).

The assessments are normalized between these ports.

In addition, Platts intends to introduce gas chemical freight assessments for Middle East-North Asia (ME-North Asia).
