Platts changes the way it republishes MIBGAS Iberian Gas Market exchange data

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has changed the way it republishes data provided by the MIBGAS Iberian Gas Market exchange, effective Aug. 9, 2024.

The change better aligns Commodity Insights and MIBGAS data sets.

The data for the MIBGAS Spanish PVB Day Ahead Traded Price (MGSPA00) and MIBGAS Spanish PVB Month Ahead Traded Price (MGSPB00) will now reflect the Last Price instead of the Reference Price, as defined by MIBGAS.

Additionally, the MIBGAS Spanish PVB Day Ahead Traded Price (MGSPA00) republished each Friday will now reflect the Last Price on the next working day.

This data is also published in the European Gas Daily report.
