Platts seeks to launch US DDP benzene assessment

Platts is seeking industry feedback on a proposal to launch basis DDP US Gulf Coast US benzene assessments on October 3, 2011.

Platts proposes to assess on a 10,000 barrel DDP USG basis for the current month (M1) and forward month (M2), and these two assessments would run concurrently to the existing FOB USG benzene assessments.

The assessment would be added to pages PCA 208 and PCA 61 and would be published along with a weekly average in Platts Europe and US Petrochemical scan.
