Platts corrects historical German power prices, derived from third-party data

S&P Global Platts has corrected certain German power prices, derived from EEX data, which were published over the period of May 31, 2018, to Dec. 27, 2018. The affected calculations that used this data have also been corrected.

The affected calculations, such as spark spreads, dark spreads, clean spark spreads, clean dark spreads, baseload calculations and conversions from Eur/MWh to p/th, Eur/Gj and $/MMBtu, which use this data have also been corrected.

The corrections affected the following data series:

The affected prices were published on the following fixed pages of Platts real-time services: EP0220, GC0900, EP0222, GC0902, EP0641, NG0834, EP0668, NG0835, EP0067, EP0068 , EP0503 and EP0502. They were also published on European Power Daily, Coal Daily and Power in Europe.
