Platts seeks feedback on European MTBE, ETBE conversion rates

S&P Global Platts is seeking feedback on conversion rates for European MTBE and ETBE.

Platts understands that market participants use a range of conversion rates from dollars per metric ton to dollars per barrel depending on density.

Following research, Platts invites feedback on defining a standard conversion rate from $/mt to $/b of 8.45 for MTBE and 8.42 for ETBE.
