Legacy FTP delivery platform will be shut down August 27, 2011

As previously announced, Platts has implemented new file creation and delivery platforms for its Market Data (formerly Dispatch) service. The delivery site, ftp.platts.com, was switched to the new system on June 25, and an improved delivery schedule for Market Data files went into effect there on August 2.

Platts has kept the previous system available at ftp-legacy.platts.com as a courtesy to users during the transition to the new system. Over 95% of Market Data users have now successfully moved to the new site.

The legacy FTP site will be shut down effective Saturday, August 27, 2011. The Market Data price files for August 26 will be the last updates to that delivery site.

ANY USERS WHO HAVE NOT ALREADY SWITCHED TO THE NEW DELIVERY SITE AT FTP.PLATTS.COM SHOULD DO SO IMMEDIATELY. If you have any problems in making the switch, or if you have any questions or comments regarding this announcement, please contact Platts Customer Care or email support@platts.com.
