Platts is reviewing its Mediterranean 0.2% sulfur gasoil cargo assessments in response to the continuing shift to lower sulfur gasoil production in the region.
As a result, Platts is considering various mechanisms for assessing the 0.2% sulfur gasoil in relation to the 0.1% gasoil Mediterranean assessments.
Platts requests feedback on what mechanisms would be the most appropriate for linking these two assessments.
Platts has already announced that it will stop assessing Mediterranean 0.2% gasoil CIF and FOB cargoes on the last trading day of 2009.
