Platts proposes to publish a daily Mean of Platts US Atlantic Coast 1%S residual fuel "strip" assessment, as well as the differential to that assessment, beginning October 1, 2010.
The US Atlantic Coast 1% sulfur strip refers to the average forward value for the US Atlantic Coast residual fuel oil assessment period of 10-25 days from date of publication.
In addition to the publication of the strip, Platts would also publish the differential between No. 6 0.3% HP, No 6 0.3% LP, No 6 0.7S, No 6 1S, No 6 2.2S MX and No 6 3.0S MX assessments and the strip.
These assessments would appear in the US Marketscan and on Platts Global Alert page 50.
