Platts proposes changing NWE SM contract to 3 CPs

Platts seeks industry feedback on its proposal to introduce three individual contract price settlements for Northwest European styrene.

Platts currently publishes the NWE styrene monomer monthly contract FD NWE, which is based on an average of three individual contracts settlements.

Due to the recent divergence in the loading/delivery basis in these contracts Platts proposes to publish all three contracts individually, namely FD NWE, FOB Rotterdam and FOB Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp.
