Platts clarifies loading basis of Singapore LNG bunkers price assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, wishes to clarify that the delivery method reflected as standard in its Singapore LNG bunkers price assessment is barge-to-ship.

While Platts continues to consider truck-to-ship deliveries, these may be normalized to a barge-to-ship basis when considered in the final assessment value.

In addition, Platts wishes to clarify that the minimum trade size reflected in the assessment is 1,000 cubic meters, while the delivery period reflected in the assessment is 7-20 days ahead from the date of publication.

Pricing information for LNG bunker deliveries with other specifications and terms may be normalized to the proposed standard.

The assessment appears on Platts LNG Alert pages, LNG Daily, and Platts Bunkerwire.
